I helped a restaurant make their menu and training book?
I helped a restaurant make their menu and training book before it opened. At the time I was working for a company as a computer tech. The person who was my boss at that company had me type up 300 pages + for the menu and the training book in my free time on the clock. I stopped working at this place and was never compensated or rewarded for my efforts.
This restaurant now has 5+ chains, would it be fair to request compensation for all my hard work?
If you were on the clock then you were on the clock then you were compensated.
It’s pretty hard for them if you no longer work there.
