i always order either Lamb biryiani, or lamb gosh with pilau rice (sp). i am never adventurous when ordering lol

Haven’t eaten anything adventurous, unless you count a vindaloo, but I did once haul a takeaway to the top of a hill in the Lake District and ate it there. Does that count?

I (95% of the time) get an Onion Bhajee to start. With my main courses I tend to chop and change quite a lot – but I do like ‘em spicy!
When I was in Egypt I order a Lamb dish, shown on the menu as being stupidly hot, and the waiter asked me about 5 times if I was sure I wanted it and even confirmed when he brought it to the table that I was really sure I wanted it.
Some Yank sitting on the table next to be decided to copy me and had one forkfull before running out like a baby!

whatever i fancy on the menu if it sounds nice then i will have it but i allways have popadoms with the pickles .

the strangest thing i ever ordered was bindhi-something-or other. I missread the menu, and was served a big plate of okra (yuk!) in redsauce. it was amazing! unlike okra from the southern U.S., it wasn’t gooey and gross.

I’ve only had the shrimp with the bread and rice and that green stuff. I don’t know the name but I have always enjoyed it. My Indian friends would order it for me. I also like those little desert balls they have with the sauce. When I go back this is what I’ll have to tell them because I still the know the exact names. Never heard of chandee.
