Indian Vegeterian Party Food for Birthday Party?

im british born and living in england.
its my birthday coming up soon and i want to celebrate my birthday at home.
im also a vegeterian.

and i would like, to cater indian food. but im not sure what to order to cater for my friends and mostly family.

excuse my spelling if i dont spell it right.

i think cuddy instead of dhaal would be better on rice for my birthday.

for desserts

jumbu
possibly gajjer halwo.
cake

but im really unsure bout what else to order, i want something thats filling for my friends and family.
similar to a wedding catering but not too much like that.

could you please recommened at least 6-7 food and 2 desserts.

all vegeterian please.

you can order some snacks like
food
* mix veg pakkoda – starter
* plantain vada
* channa masala
* veg Hyderabad Biriyani
* Potato fry
* Rasam
* Cauliflower pepper fry

Dessart
* dhal payasam
* rava laddo

these are simple vegetarian dishes from india used in most of the occasions, even in hotels too so lets try it dear……..

    i’ll bet you could pose this exact question to whatever restaurant you choose to cater your party and they’d probably be able to suggest great choices…

    maybe you should focus more on what restaurant you want to cater your party…
