    You can get fresh …
    You can get fresh or dry fenugreek leaves at most Indian grocery stores. The dry one is called “Kasuri Methi”. The fresh ones are also available in some of the health food or farmer’s market type stores. Using fenugreek powder will not give you the proper effect of this recipe.

    Wow this looks good will try. i’m one of the strange ppl that enjoys the bitter taste of methi and karela etc. I nearly always replace all palak dishes with methi. But I can see that in dishes like this it might be an idea to get lessen the bitterness. but seeing as its me i’ll skip the salting bit and try it that way.

    You can find …
    You can find saffron at most Indian grocery stores or even some whole foods type stores. It is a bit expensive (the most expensive spice in the world), but just a little pinch goes a long way!

    Yes, you can use Dry Fenugreek Leaves. This recipe uses approximately 1 cup of dry Methi Leaves.

    Yes, unfortunately we do loose some nutrients. If you can handle the flavor and the bitterness then by all means don’t salt it:)

    What we have used in this recipe is fresh fenugreek leaves but alternatively you can use Dried Fenugreek leaves.
    There are different names and spellings to the same thing:
    Kasturi Methi
    Kasuri Methi
    Kasoori Methi
    Dried Fenugreek Leaves
