How to take out the battery on my laptop?
I have a HP dv9000 laptop and I am trying to take out the battery. Only it is way TOO hard.
I know you are supposed to slide the bar over to lock in place and then the battery comes out. But im struggling to slide it.

When I whip out my camera to take pictures, I feel slightly embarassed and awkward?
I love taking pictures of my dogs, I mostly do it in my backyard which of course most of the pictures are looking the same and are getting dull, rarley I will actually go down to the nearby park hoping nobody is round so I can take my pictures.
I just feel stupid in a way when other people are around when I take out my camera and start taking pictures of my dogs.
How would I overcome this?
I take pretty sweet pictures also so it’s kind of a waste.
Asians have no problem with whipping out their cameras at the most awkward times and places, so I don’t think you should care. Just do your thing, if you like doing it, keep doing it. Our purpose in life is not to impress other people and live up to their standards.

How often should you take out pierced earrings to clean them?
When you take out a pierced earring with the post, what is that smelly white mucus that is in the whole in the ear? Can you do anything to keep that from forming?
If there’s smelly white mucus (pus), then you may have an infection (unless your piercings are new, in which case it’s pretty normal). You should clean your earrings daily with betadine (not alcohol) or a special piercing solution. I find that salt water also helps, and if you’re allergic to iodine, it’s a good alternative. After awhile, the smell should go away, and you can start cleaning them a little less frequently.
Even if you don’t feel like removing the earrings, it’s still a good idea to clean around them with betadine/whatever on a Q-tip.
(I have to say though, I’ve had my ears pierced now for 20 years, and I don’t even have to clean them or the earrings – my holes have built up enough tissue that they no longer are subject to infection).

Normally I would take out the turkey christmas eve in the morning…but I’ve never had one this big before. Will that still be enough time? Or should I get up a little earlier on Christmas eve and take it out?

No, it won’t thaw in time if you take it out on Christmas eve. I would take it out either now or Monday morning at the latest. Even if it thaws a little before Christmas morning, it will be fine in the refrigerator for a few days. Since my family is so big I always have to cook a 20+ pound turkey.

How do you take out a memory card for Sega dreamcast?
The memory card in my controller for the Sega dreamcast won’t come out. I tried pulling it out but i think it’s stuck. Is there a button i have to pres to take it out? Any idea of how i can get it out?
You should just be able to grasp it on either side and pull. They do fit pretty snugly, but there isn’t any kind of release button.

I would try using a piece of tape, or something sticky and see if it’ll pull it out
You still may be able to attatch a small piece of tape to a toothpick or something. Is the head phone jack hollow? If it is you may be able to break off the end of a toothpick and stick it inside the hollow part of it, and it may get inside of it tight and pull it out.
