I’ve been asked to design a menu for a local restaurant and I need to know what to charge. I’ve thought about letting him pay in gift certificates since he’s just starting out, but again, how much is fair? I figure it will take me about 5 hours to complete with occational updates.

I just want to create an easy interface for the Chef to quickly be able to select menu items and if possible have the prices auto-fill. All of these things would be editing an article that displays on the site. How can this be done?

My teacher did…and she had some really cool ones that had interesting chinese lettering stuff on it…it was awesome, plus it’s a unique collection.

Ever since they posted the calorie amounts in the food menus do you eat out less or eat less amounts of fast/restaurant food? Which restaurant has high amounts of calories in your opinion? Do you think the new law of posting the calories was helpful?
I personally think Dunkin Donuts food has a lot of calories.

I am in need of getting a scanner with OCR to scan menus from restaurants. It will be used much of the day so it needs to be good quality. Restaurant menus have a wide variety of font, so the program would need to recognize large menus with creative font. Thanks.

It’s a message from the uneaten cats: "Please help us, we are trapped in a crate in the alley outside the kitchen door!" but since they are Chinese cats they have to write it weird.
