Curly underlines for restaurant menus?
I write the daily menus for our restaurant. I’d like to spice the lay-out up a little and have been searching for curly underlines or other gifs to include in it. Does anyone know where I can download some?
Thanks
Sorry, not gifs then but just simple graphics

How many menus should I order for a restaurant with seating for 115 people?
We go with roughly half of what we can seat, and then 10 extra incase they are lost or ruined. About 65.
What are the chances 115 people are going to sit and order at the same time? No reason to waste the money, UNLESS they get cheaper by bulk. If thats the case, you might as well get more for a better deal, and just set some of them aside.

Help with reading Restaurant menus!?
When dining out at restaurant have you ever came across a menu with numbers instead of prices? How do you read these? Try www.jalexander.com if you don’t know exactly what I mean. Are these number the prices or is there another meaning to these numbers?
Yes those are the prices. J Alexanders does this and many places do this for their wine list if not for their main menu….
Stag’s Leap Cabernet…82
Jordan Cabernet…………78
These are dollars
Beef Tenderloin…………..32
Veal Marsala……………….23
etc.
EDIT Do not confuse these with bin numbers for wines (which are usually listed ahead of the item).
restaurant menus and reservations?
for the pre fix menu (pre fix? or pree -feeeee ) okay so theres like first courses and second courses and stuff. do you get to choose whatever you want as many as you want from it? even if its a set fee like 50 dollars per person? or is it only one thing per ccourse?
and reservations. do you need a credit card to hold a table?
peas and thank you.
One choice from each course. Depends on the restaurant whether you need a credit card to hold a table. The majority do not require this.
You deliver menus and find others in the letterbox from a different restaurant. What do you do?
1 Push the other one through with yours which will harm your business.
2 Pull the other one out and throw it away and deliver yours only.
The question is the other person has put the house in danger by leaving the menu hanging out of the door and they could be broken in to so you can’t return the other menu to it’s original position.
But are you breaking the law by removing it and throwing it away?
Its a dog eat dog world. I would chuck the others – no question about it.
How much does it cost for a fast food restaurant to post their nutritional facts in their menus?
McDonalds, Burger King, Jack in the Box, Subway, Wendy’s, Quiznos, etc.
I’ve heard it was expensive to actually dig up the nutritional facts, but does anyone know roughly how much? I’m doing my research report on this and it’d be a lot of help if I knew. Thank you!
chain restaurants are required by law to have a nutrition guide in their store. I think thats all restaurants with 16 or more locations. So for those restaurants it wouldnt be expensive because they already know, and even if they didnt, it takes five minutes to look at a recipe and total the calorie content. the money it would cost them would come from the consumers eating out less when they realise that the average meal in a restaurant has 1500 calories.
