Any opinions on Trillium Caterers in Belfast, ME?

How was the staff – food, cost?

I used to live there but I don’t know about them. Can you call them and get references? Any good business wouldn’t have a problem giving references. You can always set up an appointment to discuss what you’re looking for to get prices. There shouldn’t be any charge for that.

Do other Countries have food delivery services like we do in America?

Posted on November 16th, 2009 by admin in food delivery | 2 Comments »

What are some services we have in America, that other Countries don’t have?

None. America is not unique with anything. Anything that america has, other countries have and they usually have much better. For example, at mcdonalds in Thailand and Philippines and many other places, they deliver, and burger king too. I have never seen a burger king or mcdonalds in USA that delivers. In USA they have the double filet o fish now. Thailand had this years before USA ever started selling them in american mcdonalds. Its ironic that even american companies in other countries are more advanced over there rather than over here in USA. They also have the double big mac (aka the mega mac, 4 patties), which USA doesnt have. So the delivery options in other countries have always been much better than USA as well as the food.

Help with reading Restaurant menus!?

Posted on November 16th, 2009 by admin in restaurant menus | 2 Comments »

When dining out at restaurant have you ever came across a menu with numbers instead of prices? How do you read these? Try www.jalexander.com if you don’t know exactly what I mean. Are these number the prices or is there another meaning to these numbers?

Yes those are the prices. J Alexanders does this and many places do this for their wine list if not for their main menu….

Stag’s Leap Cabernet…82
Jordan Cabernet…………78

These are dollars

Beef Tenderloin…………..32
Veal Marsala……………….23

etc.

EDIT Do not confuse these with bin numbers for wines (which are usually listed ahead of the item).

also another thing is the jumper settings on your hard drive.
you must make sure that your hard drive that you already have is set to master and the second one is set to slave or cable select.

the diagram is usually provided on the hard drive itself

i like to reduce my weight by dieting with indian food menu?

Posted on November 16th, 2009 by admin in indian food | 3 Comments »

I am a mother of 2 kids.I am 5′ 3" with 77 kg.I live in india. So can anyone give me a menu plan with indian food for dieting and i dance for 30 minutes for exercise .Is that ok?

Stay away from the breads, pakoras. Vegetarian is a good option.

Most important watch the sizes of portions you eat. It is more important do reduce the amount you are eating than change the food.

Indian food can be quite healthy.

What was this Indian cuisine cilantro sauce?

Posted on November 13th, 2009 by admin in indian cuisine | 4 Comments »

Recently I tried various types of Indian cuisine at a party. One thing was a sauce that was a light green and tasted VERY strongly of cilantro, used as a condiment. I was wondering if this sauce has a name? I’d like to find a recipe… Does anyone recognize this sauce?

It is Dhania (dhaniya) Chutney. The Cilantro (or corriander as they say in India) leaves are similar to parsley leaves, but lighter green, more fragile and more aromatic. You can find them in Indian, Mexican (used for salsa) and even in Chinese grocery stores. To make the Chutney, puree together a bunch of fresh cilantro leaves (wash well and cut off any hard stems, keep the soft ones), 1-2 cloves of peeled garlic, and 1 green chilli or de-seeded jalopeno (for spice to taste) till smooth. To the puree, add salt and the juice of half a lemon (about 1 tsp). Serve immediately or refrigerate until needed. This is the simplest, and there are many variations to this recipe.

How else can you use it? Use it as a spread for your Sandwiches or on Pita Bread. Make a Dip – just add a cup of plain yogurt or sour cream and mix well. You have a pretty light green Dip for your salad greens or crackers.

Is the giant sandwich in the Visa "Life Takes" ad campaign a real restaurant menu item?

Posted on November 13th, 2009 by admin in restaurant menu | 2 Comments »

If so, where would one find it?

Can’t verify that either of these are the burger in the Visa ad, but you can get a gigantic burger at Denny’s Beer Barrel Pub or Clinton Station Diner, or you could make your own at home!
